衡量你嘅social media成效(唔止係view/fans數量)

我學到衡量social media成功唔係睇vanity metrics——而係要track reach、engagement同revenue嚟prove真正嘅business impact。

呢個topic對我嚟講好dear to my heart。我覺得同任何marketing activities一樣,做social media嘅ultimate goal除咗Reach(fans)同Engagement之外應該係revenue。如果你有一個好正嘅campaign但佢喺短期、中期或者長期都冇generate任何revenue uplift,咁有咩用?

你嘅social media資產嘅Reach

要理解你透過social media資產reach到幾多人,有好多metrics我哋可以用,取決於你用邊個social platform。對於Facebook,你可以隨時間measure嘅係:

  • Fan growth/隨時間嘅Total Fans
  • Actual Reach vs Total number of fans。呢個可以用percentage嚟measure。
  • Viral uplift

Fan growth好容易知道。Facebook insights可以畀你呢個figure over time。measuring likes over time on facebook 從上面嘅screenshot,你可以見到daily organic likes、paid likes、UnlikesNet Likes。明顯如果你嘅Organic Likes比例高,代表你嘅content strategy、engagement activities做得好。對於每個post嘅Actual Reach,我哋可以計average reach per post(average unique impression per post)然後除以每日嘅total number of fans。例如,如果10個posts嘅total impressions係100,000,咁average reach per post就係10,000。如果期間每日嘅average number of fans係40,000,咁我哋嘅reach rate就係25%(10,000/40,000)。隨時間track Reach rate可以有用嚟理解你嘅content根據Facebook EdgeRank表現得幾好。Viral uplift可以用嚟measure你從fans嘅network得到嘅additional viral impressions,因為fans like/share/comment你嘅posts。Viral uplift可以計算為某段期間你所有posts嘅total impressions嘅percentage。Facebook insights raw data包括viral impression。

Engagement rate

唔同platform對engagement嘅定義唔同。Avinash寫咗一篇好靚嘅文章。佢叫做「Best Social Media Metrics: Conversation, Amplification, Applause, Economic Value」。喺呢篇文章入面,Avinash講咗social media engagement嘅三個key metrics。佢哋係:

  • Conversation Rate = 每個Post嘅Audience Comments(或Replies)數量
  • Amplification Rate:
    • Twitter:Amplification = 每個Tweet嘅Retweets數量
    • Facebook、Google Plus:Amplification = 每個Post嘅Shares數量
  • Applause rate:
    • Twitter:Applause Rate = 每個Post嘅Favorite Clicks數量
    • Facebook:Applause Rate = 每個Post嘅Likes數量
    • Google Plus:Applause Rate = 每個Post嘅+1s數量

avinash measuring success of social media 就我個人而言,我覺得我哋可能需要用percentage嚟計以上嘅metrics,因為明顯如果你有更大嘅fan base,你嘅absolute number可能會更大。以下係你可以用嘅suggested metrics:

33.3/12,000 = 0.27%

Applause rate

任何一個post有like嘅fans平均percentage

166.6/12,000 = 1.38%

Engagement Rate (%)

任何一個post有like/share/comment嘅fans平均percentage

(116.6+33.3+166.6)/12,000 = 2.63%

Engagement rate係Conversation rate、amplification rate同applause rate嘅總和。以上嘅表可能睇起嚟好intimidating。就我個人而言,我建議隨時間track呢啲metrics 嚟睇趨勢。Reach rate、conversation rate、amplification rate同applause rate(%)係critical factors嚟睇你嘅fans係咪真係同你嘅content engage。Like(applause)被認為係最容易achieve嘅,相比comment(conversation),最難嘅係share(Amplification)。如果你想有great viral uplift,你需要track呢啲metrics。呢啲graphs嘅例子可能好似以下:reach rate social media over time 如果唔用ads嘅reach rate有大約40%+,代表你嘅content做得好好。記住,average大概係10%。以下嘅graph show engagement rate、applause rate、conversation rate、amplification rate over time嘅graphical example。engagement rate on facebook over time 兩個星期期間,overall engagement rate喺2%+左右波動。首先,以我喺越南嘅經驗嚟講,呢個係高嘅engagement rate。9月9日左右嘅peak值得進一步investigate。因為呢個只係一個example,而且冇其他information,所以冇太多可以analyze嘅。

Bottom line
